We breakdown our service in 3 entail categories. The service scopes are:-
Start-Up
During the start-up period, our Representatives will be present on site to provide on site services as needed. This will ensure bmSOLUTION programs are initiated to the fullest satisfaction of the supplier and the client.
Formal chemist, operator and supervisor training, including manual. Special attention to safely issues of chemicals handlings.
Assistance with the installation and start-up of dosing equipment.
Assistance and training with the establishment of test routines which will enable plant to control the treatment programs.
Collaboration with inspection personnel in setting up monitoring devices to quantify performance of the treatments.
Non-Routine
On non-routine basis, but rather dictated by performance circumstances, the following service commitments are made.
- Seminars to orientate and train operators, foreman, engineers and management in the need and technology of water treatment with the objectives of improving understanding and motivating interest in a satisfactory treatment program.
- Inspect and photograph all water handling equipment and water treatment related systems during plant turnaround to document original condition. Discuss with specific engineering company (hire by our clientele to do the cleaning job) and compile up all the observation, findings and comments.
- Specific studies as and when necessary to optimize energy utilization and water consumption.
- Trouble shooting of water related problems.
- Conduct semi-annual cost audits with formal presentation to all interested parties.
Routine Service
The Service Engineer will visit the plant regularly (depending on the plant requirement). During each visit, he will fulfill the following service function:
- Check and inspect each system, plant and associated equipment being treated.
- Calibrate chemical dosing pumps to optimize chemical dosages.
- Discuss with operators and plant working personnel performance or problems during the past visit.
- Take a full set of samples from one system and analyze these samples on site.
- Relate results of the analysis to SPC routine water testing logs.
- Check and report any abnormal related to the treatment program.
- Prepare on each visit a detailed hand-written report and discuss the findings of the report with management, etc. Specify in writing on the report the course of action to be taken and the treatment for the oncoming period.
- Carry on informal, fact finding discussion with the plant chemist, operations and maintenance personnel to uncover any areas for potential savings and / or improvement.
- Install and inspect monitoring equipment. This includes corrosion, fouling, dissolved oxygen monitoring etc.
- Ensure that adequate stocks of chemicals are maintained at site.
- By verbal communication, promote interest and collaboration in the implementation of the treatment program.
Back-up Facilities
Laboratory facilities will be available locally or oversea by our principles, regular samples will be taken and returned to the back-up laboratories to assess control and to report accordingly.
